Seeds and seedlings
Back to work today after a very long break. It was lovely to see the two wonderful ladies who I work with...I've missed them and we had some catching up to do!
I was so tired tonight, spent most of the phone call with Simon moaning about how shattered and grumpy I was...he was probably glad he wasn't anywhere near me. He cheered me up no end though.
Something else was nice tonight, it is still a bit chilly to sit out here but I am perservering with getting it just right for me and the girls. I picked up a lot of seed kits in Sainsburys today and me and the girls spent a happy hour planting wild flowers, pumpkin and tomato seeds.
The kits had magic compost in them (you just add water to a block) so that added to the excitement...and mess! We also put our seeds and mealworms out on the new bird table. I can't wait to see if it attracts some feathered friends.
The girls made their tags for their plants and now we have to wait a few days to see if some little shoots start to appear.
