My three ice cream scoops.

I bought the one with the wide spring metal handle to replace the one with the black rubber handle when its scoop and handle decided to go their separate ways, but I never threw out the broken one....as long as you keep the scoop above the handle and your thumb on the button, they stay together and it is not broken.

It's the plain one with no moving parts that works the best though

I keep the broken one for scooping muffin mixture into muffin papers, it really is the most handy tip!

I also sometime use them for mashed potatoes....á la school dinners, I don't wear a blue nylon tabard though.
