This is a dramatic re-enactment of the moment when H's iphone slipped from her pocket into the silky waters of our downstairs loo!

Clearly being a bit of a nerd I quickly dismantled it, dried what I would see then shoved it into a bag of rice for a couple of days (rice will draw any moisture out).

Alas the poor old thing is dead, gone to silicon heaven.

She is eagerly awaiting the delivery of her new iphone 4 tomorrow (I suspect this might not have been quite so accidental as she made out). I'm on the lookout for a waterproof case, or maybe some sort of fob watch thing to keep it in check, failing that I might get her this case
