Quite a day

Blip has many assets.
One of the strongest for me is the recording of daily stuff either through the Blip itself or the blurb I type. I don't keep any kind of diary.

Often, as a full-time-Mum, it feels as though the days merge into one big mass of organised chaos and when I look back there's little to distinguish any major achievements.

So today, dull though it may seem to most, I'm literally going to type a list of what happened today, so I can look back and read the kind of chaos that filled my days in 2011!

Got up, dressed myself and family.
Family had breakfast.
Checked e-mail for THE message telling us which school Miss B had been allocated a place at... MUCH JOY!!! She's got a place at our top favourite!!!
Said goodbye to Mr B.
Had to phone Mr B up as he got into the car down the road as Miss B was in tears as she hadn't given him a hug. (He returned, and they hugged!)
Drove Miss B to pre-school, much excitement in corridor as her mates have all got into the same school!
Got pram out of car and walked Master B to 'other' house to hang out washing. Walked most of the way with another Mum from pre-school who was telling me her husband was being made redundant today. Rough.
Hung out washing.
Walked down to swings, Master B enjoyed half an hour of fun in the sun (pictured) watching birds and aeroplanes.
Back in the pram and up to home to collect a dummy (I'd forgotten to bring one out with me, doh) and put the rubbish out.
Set off walking down the High Street, Master B fell asleep.
Aldi first then Next then Tesco.
Met a 'Mr James Onion' along the way and chatted for some time as we strolled. He's 88.5 years old and walks everywhere. He was concerned that my husband might think it untoward that he was walking with me! He was a lovely gent. very knowledgable.
Procured food and birthday gifts to see us through the next couple of days, or so I thought!
Master B woke up outside Tesco.
Walked back to pre school.
Got into car and drove to car wash, big queue so aborted that mission and went back to pre school.
Went in early for apt. with Miss Bs key teacher regarding her work and social skills. It was very encouraging!
Collected Miss B.
Drove home and we all had lunch.
Miss B watched TV while I played hoops and blocks with Master B.
Master B had a nap while I played car mat and train set with Miss B.
Made macaroni cheese half way through building train track, well, nearly made macaroni cheese! Had run out of milk!
When Master B woke the three of us walked (I carried Master B!) to the shop for milk then back home to finish making tea, with Master B attached!
Gave the kids tea.
Bathed the kids.
Put the kids to bed.
Flopped on couch.
Blipped.
Husband came home half way through Blipping (should give him a kiss now!)
Oh... sounds like Master B isn't asleep yet, best be off!

If you've read all that you deserve a cuppa!
