Reflection

This must be my umpteenth blip of a grey heron (Ardea cinerea). I liked the perfect reflection, in this one, though.
Some personal reflection about blipping was also engendered by watching the wee video of the mighty Scobes on the blip blog. Well spoken, that man!

Another day not working, so a trip up to Dean Village and a walk down the Water of Leith walkway back home. I was a bit shocked to see some of the flood defences being constructed round Stockbridge; it looks a bit brutal, huge red boulders and all the trees chopped down on one bank, but I suppose it must be necessary.
On the final stretch of the walk, it was a pleasure to run into Red, blipping something Green :)
We had a wee chat about blipping getting you out and about, better than walking a dog, since you can delete the shite more easily...
