Where did you get that hat?

The common materials used for straw hats are rush or xian and can be very inexpensive.

This particular piece of head-gear was purchased from the National Trust gift shop at Coleton Fishacre, a beautiful Arts and Crafts style house at Kingswear, South Devon and the former home of Ruper and Lady Dorothy D'Oyly Carte (of Gilbert and Sullivan fame).
