Acequia

An acequia is a New Mexican irrigation system. In the Northern part of the state, traditional Hispanic communities collectively negotiate the distribution of water and the major Domo oversees the equitable access to water. Here in Corrales, corn, chiles melons and grapes are growing along this stretch.
