Tarring Our Driveway

Our new driveway was laid today--the whole thing took under three hours.

Ironically, the company doing it was Randy Baker's*: he's the contractor from whom we have been renting our temporary apartment since September. I found the process fascinating--I hadn't realized how much of the work had to be done by hand,and I chose this blip to give a sense of that.

This blip is "House Construction 18" and it will be the last. There actually were two House Construction 17's-- one here, showing the rebuilding of our old condominium, and another of the kitchen in our new house (with links further back).

*Last December I blipped Randy Baker's trucks in back of our apartment.
