Escape

We escaped to the beach again. Sickness driving me mad. Can't seem to escape it.

Wonderful evening though - perked up just enough to go out, dropped Ben off at Hayley's (where apparently he was unsure about things, right up until their kids heard he was in the house and flocked into the kitchen, at which point he trotted off without a backward glance) and had a good evening with friends, hearing inspiring stuff. Had some fabulous flapjack, for which I now have the recipe and need to get around to making some. It had dried apricots in it. It was gorgeous. I finished it off.

Picked Ben up later, he was out for the count, snoring away on their sofa... Also managed to pick up a foreign object in one of the tyres of the car, turned out to be a spring. Tyre needs fixing now. Sigh.
