Streptocarpus

It was a very busy day filled with...stuff and the only time I got out of the house was a brief walk to the letterbox to post a birthday card (which I'm sure will be belated by the time it arrives). The sunlight was so hard and brilliant I couldn't even take off my sunglasses, let alone see a blip.

So while I was cooking the tea (toad-in-the-hole) I snapped the jumble of streptocarpus flowers on the kitchen windowsill.
