May Bank Holiday

Mum had the day off work today, but Dad didn't. I had some new clothes from John Lewis that were age 3, but they were a bit on the small side so Mum and I went into Glasgow this morning to exchange them. I got a pink jacket for days when it's nice but a bit chilly (like today!) and a pair of purple and white sparkly trainers. The trainers took a bit of getting used to, and I fell over a couple of times. Nothing serious though. Mum had packed a picnic lunch for me, and I had it on the train. We went to visit Gran and Papa when we got back and they made lunch for Mum.

Auntie Katie and Uncle Scott were out for a big long walk - they were geocaching! They came to our house for lunch and then we went to look for a geocache near the Arria statue. Auntie Katie explained that it is a treasure hunt, so I took my magnifying glass and I was very glad of my new trainers! We didn't find the geocache, but I did find treasure - my little red car was lying in the grass! I was very impressed with Arria - isn't she big?
