The Newlyweds

Back up the A9 to sunny Dingwall today.

What better way to refresh than with a new cocktail, created for some recent event or other.....

The Newlyweds;
1.5oz Gin
1oz fresh lemon juice
1oz sugar syrup
3 chunks fresh pineapple
1 small slice fresh ginger
Soda water

Muddle fruit, add remaining ingredients except soda.
Shake hard and strain into tall ice filled glass.
Top with soda & garnish with pineapple leaf & pineapple wedge.

Sit back in the sun with a good book & enjoy - well I added that bit ;-)
