A day at the beach...

Another gorgeous day! And a perfect day to go to the beach...

We had planned a trip to Prestwick to visit hubby's Godmother A and her husband J - and couldn't have picked a better day for it. We arrived in plenty time for a game of snakes & ladders (wee C won of course), followed by a delicious lunch - A & J had gone to far too much trouble, but we heartily appreciated it!

Then it was time to head to the beach for a stroll, to collect some shells and throw stones into the water, and to get an ice-cream of course! Then back along the beach for more paddling and shell-collecting, with a little while spent in the playpark and a game of football on the grass... Then back to A & J's house for a cool drink before heading home again...
