Turn Away..

Underneath the elevated section of the M4, where the Great West Road meets the Chiswick roundabout and the North Circular Road, is this lonely collection of boxes, rubbish, dirty trolleys, and blankets.

Cars and lorries speed past all the time; their engine noise a constant loud drone on both sides. Pigeons use it as a toilet and their filth stains the structure, ground and walls.

Apparently a man has lived there for many years, the only sign of his habitation is the suggestion of movement from time to time, and a piece of hardboard with a single message - A Vile and Brutal Country England

He is rarely or never seen, I suspect, because the drivers that come within 10 feet of the structure intentionally turn away.

It makes me sad every time I drive past..
