Geordie girl

Ophelia was actually born in Hexham, unlike her sister who came into the world in Newcastle. Today the girls and I met with my friends Ellie and Laura who were visiting from Edinburgh and Essex respectively. Our friendship goes back over ten years now, but we don't see each other nearly as often as we'd like, due to distances and circumstances, so it is always special when we do get together. We had a lovely afternoon in town by the Quayside, in the Baltic gallery and then on for tea at Pizza Express. I love the view of the Tyne from the Baltic viewing platform.
