Knarsdale, Lambley and Eals
An eventful day in the Haltwhistle Walking Festival when I managed to "mislay" three people (one of whom was a back up) during the walk. Thankfully everyone was OK, even the people who had to scramble up a dry gully with me after I took a wrong turn........
The glass of wine is already poured!
Knarsdale is so beautiful. It is in the South Tyne Valley. There are fields in the valley bottom then moors above. The sheep and lambs are very happy this year because it has been so dry for lambing, but there is still enough grass for them.
I have chosen a view that is characteristic of the area. The colours seem a bit OTT but it was bright and vibrant today, nothing added.
