Leamington Lift Bridge

The road over the bridge is timber-surfaced and is lifted straight up by the mechanism. You could park a cart and horse (startled) on it while it is lifted without them being tipped off. It was built in 1906 and crosses the Union Canal near the heart of Edinburgh.
