Homo Sapiens : Wise Man

Aren't they amazing, just look at them. Here we have a fairly standard family unit of two mature adults and a dependant juvenile. As individuals they are enterprising and inovative with a capacity for learning. As a species one has to question the group mentality and ability to remember their own history.

Copenhagen zoo is situated in two corners of two parks split by a road (there's a tunnel under it) and in both parks are viewing areas for a non-paying public where they can see either the huge elephant enclosure or here, where you can see rhinos, zebras and some goaty things. I think this is a terrific idea to promote the zoo and more than just a little amusing when viewed like this.

It put me in mind of a joke I just heard on friday:
The Danish Primeminister was visiting China and meeting with their Chairman. Making polite conversation the Chairman asked "So, Denmark? What's your population over there?"
The Primeminister, proud of all his country has achieved, responded "Five and a half million"
"Ah....so you're an endangered species then."
