family do
we were up at the grandparent's place again today, this time with all present and more or less correct. Seven grandchildren, three sons, three daughters in law. The children spent most of the time running around on the nearby playground armed with walkie-talkies and the dog. The ladies talked lady things (towards the end it was mainly about how to never, ever get pregnant ever again as one couple we know have just had unexpected baby four and another four&five as twins - eeek!!). The men talked money and wills and insurance and other manthings like football. I have to say, I do have lovely sisters in law and they do make these gatherings into a pleasure rather than a duty. And the fact that all the cousins love playing together makes everything so much more relaxed :-)
The blip shows one from each family - my 7 year old is at the front, the one behind is 8 (and exactly the same age as seeingasiam's H) and the one at the back is 10 and the one to ask should you need to know anything about football that's happened in the last five years - like who played where and then got transferred to where for how much after scoring how many goals......
The grandparents live in a "senior residence" he has a flat and she is in the care home, when we visit we eat in the very good restaurant that is a part of the complex.
