Enterprise or Vandalisum ?

The road at the bottom of the lane leading to the stables road sign should read 'Bishop Wilton'. It is unclear as to the motive behind the removal of certain letters from said sign ! Bishop Wilton is a noted Medieval village which host many walker and school field trips, unlike many villages around here it still sports a 'village shop'. PS I will try to blip the Medieval street layout tomorrow.
