Mystery flower

These tiny little flowers have appeared in my cousin's lawn for the past couple of years.

No idea what they are - the leaves are heart shaped - very much like tiny convolvulus leaves.

Have tried googling a few ideas, but so far no success in identifying them.

**stop press: been advised they are violets and a quick google seems to confirm this - mystery solved!**
