digger

on my daily (well almost) wander into work i take one of two routes, just to keep things interesting, today i walked my preferred route by the fire station.

from leith walk this development doesnt seem at all big but when viewed from this side the sheer scale is impressive - i love the chimney stack and the side of this building but i fear that the newly-constructed concrete towers will be limited in their arcitecheral(?) beauty unlike yesterday's blip. i cannot see them taking down the stack then re-building it.

i think the man in his digger was puzzled as to why he was being photographed.
