M and I were cooking dinner together when she said, "There are some onions growing on the roof. It would be a pity for them to go to waste. Maybe we should use them. Do you know who planted them?"

"I did. Let's go pick some!"

The seedlings I planted last year have grown an eatable size. We just picked the tops off the green onions so hopefully they will sprout again. They made a delicious addition to our fried rice and cauliflower.
