Lentepoets (spring cleaning)

Today in Antwerp it was "Lentepoets" (= spring cleaning) where residents are encouraged to come on the street and clean the pavements and the general outlook of the street. The council provides every participating household with a geranium flower box to put on the window sill afterwards and some money to buy food and drink.
This was the first year our road did this and we were very lucky the weather was sunny and warm! We cleaned the pavements, cars, windows and afterward sat down in the sun for a drink and a snack from the bbq. Great day!
