Penultimate Ski

The sun didn't really come out to soften things up, but we had a great ski nevertheless. First in the Pays Desert, followed by a Col Pers, taking the non-tourist 'no fall zone' route down from the Grand Torsai along the top of the gorge. At points you can see over the cliff all the way down to the bottom of the gorge. It's a long way. Then it was a couple of runs in the steep slopes in the Grand Vallon where, as the snow was quite firm, you wouldn't want to fall either.

In the afternoon I laid a few solo squiggles around the Jardin de Borsat in snow that had softened nicely. Excellent fun and very exhilarating.

Tomorrow is the last ski of the season.
