Three Yellow Chairs In The Evening Sun

A major clean out today.

We set too and collected all our well 'read' paperbacks, packed them up and got them down to Oxfam. We must have taken about 90 books from paperbacks, references, right through to cook books and thrillers. Say an average of 6.00 per book that makes £540.00 - bleeding 'eck and we've still got hundreds still to go!

In between I managed an hours snooze on the sofa then off to the supermarket for some odds and ends, which is where I spotted these three chairs in the evening light looking very beautiful

I was struck by the idea of banal beauty - seeing beautiful things where you don't expect it - there's something very comforting in that.

Speaking of which, I saw a man tonight wearing a black fedora and a black suit covered with golden stars. He looked great

Well I thought so.
