Canal Boat Cavalcade

A leisurely start to the day was in order after the excitiment of yesterday so after watching multiple reruns of the wedding on TV and a ham and cheese croissant breakfast feast we made it out to Warwick Avenue and the Canal Boat Cavalcade. It was a glorious afternoon to walk along the towpath and the bunting and paintings of the boats looked gorgeous in the sunshine. On a day like this you couldn't help but feel envious of the boatowners sitting on deck in the sunshine. To cheer us up we ended up in a local canalside hostlery ( The Grand Union) for a quick nibble before jumping on the tube home for a good tidy up.
