Chesham, Bucks

Saturday and I'm Blipping in town. This is our main high street; we have a great mix of shops from the traditional iron monger on the left, to a variety of antique and book shops.

The building which is now the George and Dragon whose sign is prominent in the middle of the street has been a pub since the mid 1700's.

I heard somewhere what Chesham once held the record for the most pubs per capita in the world! There are still plenty of pubs in the town, it would take a strong constitution to have a pint in every bar.
