Balancing Act

Today we spent the afternoon meandering through the laneways and over what seemed to be all of the countless bridges of the Canaregio district of the North of the City of Venice, walking all the way from our hotel here near the Railway Station to the sea and back again. This young man was seen marching along balancing these boxes with perfect poise and proceding with some haste even though he was faced with all sorts of obstacles like, me and the small matter of canal bridges. What an act. He never flinched once.

Tomorrow will be our last day before flying back to damp old Ireland.
