Pecangathering

Last day in Plains - some local high school kids graciously posed as pecan gatherers and field hands.

After a brief visit to the railroad tracks, and some lettuce peeling (or is that a cabbage?), it was time to go home.

4-1/2 hour drive later, and here I am - back in the (noisy) city, and very tired.
