Royal Cream Teas
Royal celebrations haven't quite gone to plan. Our afternoon cream teas have become evening cream teas. Still plenty to go round!
The mugs in the blip are very special. They were bought for our children by their Granny. The reason the are special is they depict a future king of England, however if you buy two and stand them side by side they also depict the next in line to the throne - I thought this was very clever indeed.
It has been a lovely day all in all, started off with a nice breakfast followed by a 22 mile cycle in and around the Longleat estate. I was however horrified to discover Longleat were advertising for their Christmas celebrations already on a massive bill boards.
I arrived home to see Kate arriving at the church and I sat and watched the service. I then cracked on with the laborious job of removing two conifer trees from the front of our house - both trees are now down to their stumps which will be coming ou tomorrow with the use of a chain saw. The removal of the branches from the front lawn is likely to span a few weekends with an estimated 12 trip to the tip in my estate car!
We have been to cricket trainning with our son tonight which is always good fun.
I hope everyone has had a lovely royal bank holiday and has a lovely weekend.
