Screens

I was there ... totally ...

I've been watching screens all day. The Royal Wedding, which I actually really enjoyed; Thor, which I went to see (again) with a couple of friends; and now I'm looking at my computer screen.

Actually being there is much better. Seeing people, talking to people. My facebook fast is now over but I've come to realise how much better it is actually speaking with people in person - social networking is false socialisation. I did get to see a friend today that I don't get to see very often, so at least that kind of balances out the screen-bingeing.
