The Predictable Pensioner
I know, I know, it's Edinburgh Castle. About the first and last blip of the day. It just looked so good in the evening light. But then again, that could have been down to the heady mixture of Gavi and Peroni which I'd been imbibing at 'Uncle' Eric's leaving do. And I was rushing. Rushing off to see The Sunshine Delay at the Sample Room. Some time later, and somehow, I was back home with a thirsty crew. Talk was supposed to be of a fishing trip I seem to recall. I eventually got them winkled out; F, unsteady as ever on his crutch, managed to fall into the azaleas in the front garden. What a disgraceful crowd. No wonder the young people don't respect their elders.
