Hopefully there won't be another Royal occasion of note in the near future to keep me in an all media blackout. But if there is i can heartily recommend the villages of South Shropshire. No TV's were on anywhere and when I did hear some radio commentary, my scowls had the desired effect as the volume was lowered shortly after. I have never been one for enforced jollity or moments of nationalistic fervour. I find it to be crass and embarrassing. Call me misanthropic if you will, I don't mind.
