Lightning Hit's Flag Pole

Ok... so I went to work today and they start talking about the flag pole. They said in yesterday's storm or the storm from the day before there was lightning that hit the flag pole. So I just had to go out to see the damage.

I was going to blip another picture of Grace but when I saw this I new that this just had to be today's blip. Yes this is the same flag pole that I had taken the picture of the flag from.

The good news is that the flag pole is still standing but had damage to the base. The bad news is that some of the equipment at work took some not so good damage to the light board. It's ok though because the parts for the light board are in and it still worked without the parts.

9:17 p.m.
I was on my way home when it started to rain again. It has looked like rain all day but I don't think we got much more then a sprinkle.

Oh yes... and before I forget the next two or three days I will be doing my blip late at night. I have work and there are a few places that I would like to try to get a good picture from.
