Mickey the mouse and his Minni-ettes.

Brilliant, brilliant day. Our last full day in Disneyland Paris. We went on some more rides: including some sweet and very gentle ones for the girls, though Hubby and I also bagged a spot in the Hollywood 'Tower of Terror'... There were two amazing highlights though. The first you can see here: when the girls both met Mickey. Grace has met up with several characters on this trip, but Ophelia has always been asleep so it seemed. This morning, though, she was up and about when Mickey arrived in Main Street, and she went trotting over to see him.

The other highlight - in fact the best experience of the whole holiday - was our meal tonight at 'Cafe Mickey', where we dined in the company of a host of characters. It was a very late night for the little ones (our table wasn't booked until 9.15pm and we didn't leave til almost 11), but that didn't stop them from having an hilarious time meeting Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Tigger and Eeyore, and also Gepeto, who had a good crack with my brother in law Paul. Grace was nabbed by a kindly waiter who took her around the place to do various jobs and to top it off the food was so good. One thing about Disney is that the food is all the same and tends to be very unhealthy. Been craving fruit and veg and something that wasn't fried, so a bowl of veggie pasta was just what I needed.

It's been a wonderful few days, such a well-needed holiday. We are all so exhausted that we'll need another holiday to recover, I think. Homeward bound tomorrow morning.
