Falkirk Wheel

Beautiful weather again today found us at the Falkirk Wheel. I've been there a couple of times but have never done the short boat trip from bottom (Forth and Clyde Canal) to the top (Union Canal). It's all incredibly smooth and according to the guide, the power consumption to do it is equivalent to boiling eight electric kettles which I found rather staggering.
