Aquilegia and Pippi Longstocking bug

I've had some difficulty uploading this image.*
(It's a bit odd, as it hasn't been touched at all, yet in the upload it gets cropped and rotated. It's probably my fault. Things often are!)

I don't know what the bug is really called.
It was welcome, as it adds a bit of interest to the flower.

Today has been a 'treacle' day, which doesn't mean I've overdosed on golden syrup. It means that my brain feels like fudge, for no apparent reason.

And now it's a holiday weekend! (Yay!)

Perhaps I should've gone shopping?
