If you can't beat them...

And I did try really hard. We were planning on being under the Channel at around the time "One does" was vowed. However, due to continued under-par-ness* of Carl we are staying put and having a very low-key weekend.

Which means I find myself without good reason (apart from all the perfectly good reasons) to ignore the event. So when offered bunting from the school's party in the playground I thought what the hell and here we are. Apart from anything else I am really looking forward to seeing Carl's face.

One more thing to make me happy which is handy as today I took part in the Happiness Survey. The questions were all around sport and recreational activities and the timing couldn't have been better. Apart from the mundane walking, cycling and swimming I got to include crazy golf, tag rugby, kite flying and rounders. If only all the fishing trips hadn't been fully booked. I did point out it wasn't a standard month.

Back to going the whole hog...it has been suggested I wear my wedding dress and I have to admit to being ever so slightly tempted...
