TV ad vegetable talks about failed film career.

I started out in MacDonald's ads,
you know the slow-motion rings of
onion falling on a burger?
That was me.

My agent told me to pack up my bags
and head for the bright lights.
My big break was starring in this advertisement..

I thought I'd got it made.
I started auditioning for films: The Crying Game, Cry Freedom,
Lord of the Onion Rings (a straight-to-video documentary
about the exploitation of young rural shallots by a country squire).

But I just couldn't make the break from commercials to films.

I coulda been a contender...
