All the World's a Globe

I was at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on London's South Bank this evening for drinks and canapés at the SAGE Publications annual party.

Why the Globe? It's a great venue for a cocktail party - but also because SAGE co-founder and Chair Sara Miller McCune, who gave a speech, donated £1 million towards the Globe's latest project: an indoor Jacobean theatre.

It was great to catch up with old publishing friends. And I really must get around to seeing a play at the Globe someday.
