Boris's bikes

Jonny and I rode along the Thames on a couple of the hire bikes on a stunning morning.

He was very patient as I stopped every 50 meters or so to take photos - Big Ben, War memorials...

This is one of two sphinxes that are beside an anicent Egyptian Obelisk. Wow they just took it and plonked it in London (and looking at the Wikipedia page I now know they also have similar ones in Paris and New York).

We walked across the Millennium Bridge, past the Tate Modern, the Globe Theatre and then had lunch at Borough Market before going into Southwark Cathedral for a look (and more photos).

Then we trained it to Brick Lane where Jonny used to teach and then on to Galleon's Reach for a look at Jonny's old house before going to Canary Wharf and back to the apartment. Full on day.

So many photos but knew at the time I took this that it would be my blip for the day.
