Butterfly on Buttercup
The reason for RCB's conception was to not fill this journal with birds, but when you come home with 400+ bird shots what are you supposed to do? So here's the one non-bird we took today.
Three days ago at Diddington (Northern Paxton Pits) we saw our first ever Wood Sandpiper. I say "saw", but it was exceedingly distant, the digiscoped picture wasn't much better than a blur. So looking for the possibility of finding a closer bird we went to Wicken Fen and weren't disappointed. Check out RCB's Wood Sandpiper posting. Of course getting home late with a camera full of shots, means once again we're back-blipping! - Don't ask why yesterday was a back-blip too - laziness I guess!
