Administrative Professional Day!

Today we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day. It's a day all of us assistants look forward to every year. We've been celebrating now for about the past 7 years.

Most of the girls in this photo are originals from the beginning, me included, but we've had some go on to other positions and have been replaced by new assistants. However everyone in the photo has been with the company for 10+ years, some 20+ years.

In my opinion these ladies are the best of the best when it comes to knowing what they do everyday and assisting others in their department to ensure that the wheel keeps rolling smoothly.

Today we enjoyed lunch downtown and then headed to The Ronald McDonald House for a tour of the facility. We raised a small amount of money during our luncheon as well, not much but every little bit helps. That's another thing about this group, very giving people.

This is my second family. Had a great time, and I have to mention again that we work for a great company that supports us and shows us appreciation every year. When I got back to work I had some wonderful flowers waiting for me. My boss is the best!
