Katie's Third White Dress

I finished making Katie's white dress this morning. This is such a bittersweet time--my youngest child, ready to spread her wings and move into the world of marriage-which leaves me finally at the stage of having raised six children to independence and giving me independence of my own. This has taken 37 years!!! I hope I can move into this next stage with as much grace as Katie shows today!
