Evening on the Moors

Shoved the bike in the car and headed for the hills this evening after work. Amazing weather and amazing scenery. Lots of lambs sproinking (a word coined by C to describe the bouncy thing that they do) and it wasn't too long before I unintentionally joined them, having failed to safely negotiate a particularly steep and rutted bit of trail. Oops!

Spoke to F and H on the phone this eve, with this view as the backdrop. F baked biscuits all on her own today - she is growing up so fast! H ended up being taken to see the doc this eve because of swollen glands. Seems he is OK but we'll have to wait to see how he goes over next 24 hours. Hope he is ok as it would be ace to get them out in the countryside camping this weekend. Please let the weather hold!!!!

Right, I'm off to ice the knee that took the brunt of the fall. Then to bed to get much needed beauty sleep. C coming over tomorrow eve - hurray!!
