Groatie Buckies

Thought i should blip the monument to my mums collecting mania. These are Groatie Buckies (non-orcadian name is "cowrie shell" ) they are gorgeous, rare, and considered very lucky by Orcadians . Every time we go to the beach my mum and i try and find as many as we can, the usual haul being about 5. My mum started this jar when she moved here 22 years ago.
