Bank Holiday Blip Day

Well the first day of the long bank holiday weekend started out well enough, gardening in the morning followed by leisurely packing to head up to Northumberland, then the troubles started. Eugene went MIA so Mum headed north to see if he was already there and we headed south to see if there was any sign of him at home. No sign we then made an about turn and headed north.

When Mum arrived she found Euey with a poorly mobile so mystery explained.

We hit the traffic every which way we turned as we headed north, but once there, the place is beautiful. Stealing my Mum's saying it really is 'god's own country'.

A visit to Morrison's and a call to Phones4u in Berwick resulted in enough bacon to sink a ship for brekkie and a magic wand cure for Euey's phone.

Half an hour's sleep for me, a walk for Amy and then we headed out for tea. We had a delicious dinner, Amy had snake pie while i chose sea bass. I secretly wish i'd chosen the snake it looked and tasted beautiful.
