When i was a fit youngster i used to swim at 6.30 a.m before going to school.I remember how if you were the first person in the water that day it always seemed exceptionally still and quite. Sometimes ,if i was lucky, the heatcover thing was still being pulled back and i could swim underneath it and pretend i was swimming below 30ft of ice.

that total peace and solitude you can get being in the water is something is still love to this day.
