Under the trees - the bluebells are back!

A short walk this evening took me into Ayton Wood where I thought I might take photographs for the 2011 Challenge `trees'. To my great surprise and joy I discovered that the bluebells were back. Several years ago the farmer allowed horses into the woodland and the bluebells were eaten down to the ground. Now several years later they seem to be making a recovery. I'm fairly sure that these are English bluebells but perhaps best to check this out with Mollyblobs

Work today, though I left early after clearing out a considerable number of e-mails from my in-box. I've just learnt that we are to have no more team meetings - seems that we are to end the last five years work with a fizzle. (I've put in a request for a celebration!) I can see me having more early nights over the summer and if they are all as lovely as this evening I don't see me complaining.

My first photographs entered for the Pensitone Camera Club competition `pictorial' tonight. I haven't done this kiind of thing before so it will be interesting to see how others interpret this theme.
